It’s been one week since Interrupted went live, and I’m still blinking at my screen like a confused Victorian ghost who just discovered electricity. Truly. I keep whispering “Is this real?” and then wandering off to make tea like a woman in a BBC drama who has seen too much.
Thank you. For reading. For messaging. For adopting Jonas like he’s a stray cat you found behind a diner.
Your enthusiasm has been the best kind of chaos — the campy, joyful, slightly feral kind that makes me grin at my phone like I’m up to something suspicious.
A few highlights from this week:
- Someone said Alessandro’s “Forgive me” line made them drop their sandwich.
- Three people threatened to fight the Council in a parking lot.
- One reader called Kendra “my new problematic queen.”
- And at least five of you have declared Lothar your emotional support disaster.
I love you all. Deeply. Dramatically. In a way that would make Danielle roll her eyes and mutter something about “authors.”
Thank you for making release week unforgettable. Thank you for loving these characters as much as I do. And thank you for letting me be a little campy, a little chaotic, and very, very grateful.
More stories are coming. More chaos is coming. And TM5 is already sharpening its teeth.
Stay tuned — the storm isn’t done with us yet.
