Behind the scenes: Her morphing‑back‑to‑a‑wolf scene was originally much longer. I trimmed it down to keep the urgency tight, but the emotional core stayed: Danielle is brave in ways only her closest companions can see.

Kendra has always lived between danger and domesticity — candlelit restaurants, rain‑slick streets, and a husband who can hear a heartbeat change from across the room. But in Interrupted, that fragile balance finally shatters. Her arc is terrifyingly human. And her rebirth is the moment she stops being the woman who reviews food and becomes the woman who can survive beside an ancient curse.

Behind the scenes: I wrote Kendra’s most emotional scene three times. In early drafts, she had more dialogue, more panic.
