Hello, my moonβtouched friends.
Iβm writing this from my desk with a cup of tea thatβs gone cold, my rabbit judging me from across the room, and a manuscript that has officially crossed the threshold from feral creature to bookβshaped.
Which means I can finally say the words Iβve been waiting for:
The Tangled Moon Chronicles Book Four: Interrupted goes up for preorder in August.
Yes. August. This August. The one practically breathing down our necks.
I know. Iβm screaming too.
Without spoiling anything, hereβs a little atmospheric teaser from Interrupted.
Thereβs going to be:
More shadows. More teeth. More longing. More political mess.
More βoh no, theyβre standing too close again.β
More supernatural drama that could be solved if certain characters would simply communicate like adults (they wonβt).
And yes, the emotional stakes are higher. Yes, the world is bigger. And yes, someone makes a terrible decision. Possibly several someones.
Itβs fine. Everythingβs fine.
Probably.
Because it wouldnβt be me without a touch of chaos, hereβs a glimpse of what this book had the nerve to do to me:
I rewrote one scene three times because a vampire refused to cooperate.
A Shifter decided they needed more dramatic entrances.
A side character attempted to steal the book.
I had to tell them βnoβ like a stern Victorian governess.
He stole the next book instead β seriously, he has.
They did not listen. They never do.
Youβll see the preorder link go live in August, and Iβll send out an announcement the moment itβs up. If youβre the type who likes to pounce on things immediately (you know who you are), keep an eye out.
π€ Thank You
Every time I release a TM book, Iβm reminded that this series found its readers β the ones who love atmosphere, shadows, slowβburn intensity, supernatural politics, and characters who feel a little too real.
Youβre my people. And Iβm grateful.
More coming soon. More shadows. More moonlight. More TM.
π€ Darcy
