This month it’s all about synthwave!
January’s Winner is:
Picking up the Pieces by The Motion Epic
Softly yearning… yummy. ❤️🔥
Second Place:
Watching You by Night Traveler
More upbeat, but still perfectly needy-in-love 😉
Third Place:
Fatal Obsession by The Midnight
It’s self-explanatory why I’d like this one, given the title. 🤭 Added bonus—it features a saxophone solo! 🫠
*See end for links.*

Here’s a peek at my upcoming novel, Entangled (Book Three in The Tangled Moon Chronicle):
🖤I present, for you, the opening paragraphs of page one, scene one. 🖤
Kendra Shepard was aware, from firsthand experience, that everything that went bump in the night had a logical explanation. One ready and waiting to kill her.
She was startled awake by a sound outside her window. She hated it when her brother was gone overnight. It was great that Greg and Stephanie—the girl who had been in love with her brother since the third grade—were finally together. But did they have to lose complete track of time? For all Kendra knew, they could be dead on the side of the road somewhere. Bleeding to death. In a ditch with no one within miles to save them.
Okay, so maybe she was exaggerating.
Then again, maybe not…
Poor Kendra. She’s in for a wild ride. This book comes with a warning label—no joke. But I’ll talk about that in a few weeks, when I do the cover and back cover reveal.
It will be up for preorder mid-January.

Free Bonus Material
I recently released a backstory scene for Danielle and Lothar. You can find it here: Where the Moon Tangled. It’s not in any of the books, and can only be found through this link!

Now that Entangled is nearly ready to leave the nest, I’ve begun edits on the next book, Venus Rising. This one takes us back to 1192, where we left our crew of sword-swinging mortals. I’m introducing a new player, Jennifer. After her family is murdered, Jennifer escapes by cutting off her hair, donning her deceased brother’s clothing, and hiring on as a stable boy—at Berkley. When Matthew of Berkley returns after spending the summer with his sister, Alana, he stumbles upon her unconscious body…
Sneak Peek:
“They belonged to Jeremy. They were all I had left of him,” Jennifer said.
“You were wearing your brother’s clothing?”
She turned back to face him. Her eyes were dead-serious. “They knifed him.” She flattened her hand to her stomach. “I couldn’t go on as a woman or they’d find me out, so I…” She straightened her shoulders and continued. “So I took his boots and his hose, and his knife. Then I removed a tunic from one of the men he had killed, and I left Jennifer behind.”
She froze. Her eyes snapped to his.
“Jennifer,” he said quietly. “Yes, that fits.” He smiled then. “But I still think woman fits you too.”
He didn’t explain to her why—she wouldn’t have been ready to hear it—that she was so clearly a woman from any angle that it suited her as a nickname. It also made him feel like he possessed at least some small part of her. Why that was important to him, he hadn’t decided yet…
