Darcy Branwyn has published eleven romance novels under various names over the last few decades and specializes in creating an emotional connection between her readers and her characters. She’s a method writer. Let me explain. (Let me, Darcy explain, because of course it’s me writing my own bio so let’s not play silly games.)
Method writing is like Method acting. When I write I get involved in my characters. I’m in their skin. I feel everything they feel and that’s why I get down to the raw emotions we all feel but can’t talk about.
I’ve been asked many times if it’s emotionally draining. The short answer is yes, but I’ve been at this since I started my first novel over thirty years ago, and I wouldn’t change this experience for the world.
