…“Nice to see you again,” Molly said to the ladies. “Miss Howard, Miss Greyson.” She couldn’t for the life of her remember the third lady’s name. Was it Burrstone? Or Brandon? “Miss Brandon,” she tried, making certain to sound more confident than she actually was. 

“It’s Bedford,” she said, raven brows drawing tight over brown eyes. “How many seasons did you say you spent in Bath?”

Molly glanced longingly at the open door, wondering how she might free herself. “I didn’t, and it was two.”

“And still unmarried? However could that be?”…
