It’s normal to fade after you die. Your kids will remember you, as will your grandchildren. You may meet your great-grandchildren, and they will know you to some degree through their parents but after that you vanish.

My daughter looks so much like me that people call her my mini-me. My son might as well be the male version of me. I have my grandfather’s eyes and his height. (I’m even taller than my dad!) My son and one of my daughters are in the Army, just like my other grandfather was.
You get the picture.
I might look just like my great-great-great grandmother (or grandfather). I don’t know, but I just might. Or I might think just like they did and have a similar personality.
Which leads to the question. Do we ever really die? Even if you never have children you probably have nieces and nephews to pass your characteristics off to the next generation.
Yes, we’re all unique but we’re also an amalgamation of bits and pieces passed down through the generations, going hundreds (thousands?) of years back.
