My black Dr. Martens. I have fancier shoes, prettier shoes, maybe even more comfortable shoes (although that’s debatable because my sneakers are more comfortable but I wouldn’t wear them in the winter where I live so…), but my Dr. Martens are definitely my go to.

They go with everything. (My opinion.)

They get me through all kinds or weather.

They last forever and are worth the $100 I paid for them.

Plus, well, they’re cool. 😉

Where have they taken me? By now, pretty much everywhere.

    I got some old black boots from walmart last year. they got a zipper up the side and it’s supposed to be “tactical” but I call it “tacti-cool”

    Really it’s just convenient these days.

    lol. Yeah I don’t think the zipper is tactical. Nothing like a pair of black combat-ish boots though. 😃

    I did the Docs for Life thing they offered a couple of years ago. They were around $240 a piece and I got two pairs, both black lows. I use them for work. When I wear them out I send them back and get new ones for around $40 shipping and handling. It’s a great program, but it does seem like they wear through quicker each and every time. Usually I crack them along the tops and the crack makes an eventual hole. Since I’m a bartender, those holes get all sorts of nasty crap poured in them. I’ve had this pair since July, but there’s already a hole in the upper on my right foot and if I’m not careful I’ll collect a really nasty shot on the insole.
