The most important invention in your lifetime is…

My Kindle Fire.

I used to have an I-pad and the thing worked great but I didn’t need anything so sophisticated and I ran the battery down constantly trying to read books on it so I gave it to my daughter and got myself a Kindle Fire instead. As far as its ability to pose as a tablet, well… it’s kind of clunky but I can read for two or three days on it, check my e-mail without giving myself a headache, and it’ll even tell me the weather when I verbally ask it too.

I’m not hard to please, I guess. LOL.

As someone that has been very fond of books all my life (they’re my closest companions) having an entire library at my disposal all in one place that can fit inside my bag is like a dream come true.

Keep it simple, and give me a battery that can outlast my addiction to books. Please…

I usually had a book or two on me as well. Never know when you might need one.

  3. I’ve never gotten into the e-book thing myself. I’ve been trying to re-Moby Dick on Google Docs for the last few years, but maybe that’s just because of the book it.

I’ve been afraid to get anywhere near an Amazon, Kindle, ever since the story about the time they lost the rights to the works of George Orwell. When that happened, Amazon went and automatically deleted several of Orwell’s novels off peoples devices, including… 1984.

Hahaha. I get that. I pulled most of my books off of Amazon for um let’s say personal reasons. You can read pdf files off the kindle fire. I do that.
