Make new friends.
Not online friends but real time friends that I’d hang out with and do things with. That probably sounds crazy but I’ve been burned a few times and now I’m careful about who I let into my life. I keep my circle really small so I’m less likely to get stabbed in the back. Again.
The down side to this is that as of right now I have no one that would actually enjoy going to a goth concert with me, or to cosplay with. ☹️ I’ve surrounded myself with nice, dependable muggles that would never turn on me, but now I’m a little bored. 🤷♀️
Ah, well. I’ll live. At least I’m safe.
What would it take for me to make new friends? Probably some people coming around me that don’t have ulterior motives. I’m not saying I think people are horrible. I just know firsthand how hard it can be to really connect with someone.
