Writing romance, I need to be able get into the male perspective. I won’t say I’m great at it, but I do legitimately try.
When I first sought to get into Nick’s head, or Lothar’s. Or Peter, John, Matthew… I started with one thing; the belief that while men deal with their emotions differently than women do, they do have them, and it’s NOT okay to mess with anyone’s head or heart, no matter who they are.
Ladies, can we stop assuming all men are toxic and that masculinity is inherently evil? If you’re the one destroying them, then how can you still claim to be good?
