…She shook her head, taping the dressing into place, her heart hammering. “What is this, save life?” she mimicked his accent.
He probably had no idea how to explain himself. “I am not like my uncle.”
“I know you’re not like your uncle.”
“You keep me.” Lothar paused, sighing. “Look at me.”
She did, finally forcing her gaze to his. The tenderness she saw there caught her off guard. Her embarrassment faded slowly. He seemed to be purposefully giving her the chance to get over it.
Really, any female would be lucky to lose her virginity to this man. He was a little rough with all that grabbing and squeezing her against him, sure, but he made up for it in patience…
