…“I think we should get a new bed too.”
“Not in that Beemer you rented,” she said.
“No.” Lothar stood, following after her. “We’ll have to get the van out of storage.”
“Will it run?”
He gave her a look that said it all.
“I know. You put it to bed well and you fully expect it to run for you now that it’s morning.” She smiled mischievously and then turned to start the shower.
“You did,” he noted to himself, but of course her sensitive ears had heard it. She looked at him from over her shoulder, purposefully biting at her lip before turning away.
It was enough that she drove him mad just by existing, but she just had to enjoy it too.
“Have a little mercy, Darling,” he told her.
She laughed…
