Songs from my playlist: Separate Ways. Lothar has a werewolf disorder I call Territorial Aggression that makes him potentially dangerous to anyone that threatens Danielle or their children. His fear, is that one day he will become a danger to them, and that he’ll have to leave for their own safety.
Tangled Moon:
Lothar pulled onto the side of the road opposite Nick with a few hundred feet between them. She looked at him with feral eyes.
“Come here,” he said, leaning toward her.
She kissed him without any further invitation, and then she grabbed onto his shirt and kissed him some more. “Be fast,” she breathed.
“I will.” As if he had any choice. He nodded. “Go on. I’ll see you soon.”

He pulled the car off the road and shut off the engine, then sat there breathing, battling the desire to shift into a wolf. His hands were shaking and he gripped the wheel trying to make them stop.
It was getting worse. His disorder. Was it the stress, her pregnancy, that he’d been fucking her senseless for the last six months?
All of the above?
He didn’t know, but he did fear that he wouldn’t be able to hold himself together for much longer, even when she was at his side.
What if… don’t think it. What if he had to leave her. If it was the only way to keep her and the children safe. What would that do to her? Could she recover in time? He always suspected that she could, with people who loved her at her side.
She could recover, right?
He took a deep breath and started the engine and then turned back around. He forced himself to drive at a normal pace back to the estate, anger pricking at his skin as he passed the empty space where Nick had been parked…
