I don’t live in a city. The closest city is an hour and a half away and I only go there twice a year to hit up the giant mall there for whatever I can’t get locally and would rather not order online because I want to see it—um smell it—first; like scented candles, for example.
My favorite, believe it or not, is a discount store run by Chinese immigrants. They have the coolest stuff there, like dragon statues and paper lanterns, lucky bamboo. The best pashmina scarves for half the price Amazon sells them for.
Now I kind of want to go there…
