This is a hard one to answer, but either I’m a writer or I’m not, and to write you need to turn yourself inside out and bleed all over the place.
Or something like that…
So, here we go.
I try to come off tougher than I really am.
I wear a lot of black, t-shirts with skulls on it, punk rock belts. I have a belt with fake bullets on it. No one buys my tough girl look for long. Most people see through it after they get to know me and then come to see me more as a quirky, cute little thing.
Which I sort of am, but then I’m not.
Get between me and a goal of mine that I’m determined to achieve and I’m not so cute anymore…
The black and the skulls and the bullets are protection, for all the good it does in the long run, but it serves as a first line of defense.
