“I promised myself I wouldn’t have you again until tonight.”
“Whatever else will we do?” she teased.
“Spanking could still be on the agenda,” he warned.
She was so far past taking his warnings seriously that all she did was smile. Damn, he might have backed himself into a corner. Next time her stubbornness came to challenge him he’d have nothing to work with. He’d be completely disarmed by her.
She wrapped her arms around him. “I might give that try, my lord.”
He was just considering taking her up on that offer when there was a knock on the door…
