My specialty is love potion. I make it all the time and sprinkle it on everyone that I meet so they’ll love me forever.
Just kidding.
My specialty is bone broth. Is that a food or a drink? I don’t know anyone else that makes their own bone broth so I’ll call that my specialty.
I use a huge cast iron pot; it looks like a witch’s cauldron. I was going to take a picture of it to show everyone until I realized how badly I needed to clean it. Ummm. So, yeah.
I save the bones up from meals and when I have enough of them I put them in the pot with apple cider vinegar, mineral salt, and… water (duh, right?). It has to simmer for a REALLY long time, six hours. It takes that long to release the calcium and other minerals from the bones as well as the collagen (that’s the stuff that’s good for your skin).
It tastes fantastic and I try to keep a mason jar filled with it in the fridge since I drink it pretty regularly.
